2025 Annual Report released

Basin Electric’s 2025 Annual Report is now available online. The report centers on the cooperative’s foundational purpose of delivering reliable, affordable power to the communities it serves. The progress made in advancing multiple generation and transmission projects during one of the most significant growth periods in its history shows how Basin Electric’s deliberate planning is put into preparation for the future.

Among these projects are completion of Pioneer Generation Station Phase IV, advancement of plans for the Bison Generation Station, and completion of the Leland Olds Station substation.

Additionally, utilizing an all-of-the-above financing strategy structured to maintain long‑term affordability for members, introduction of the Large Load Commercial Program, and returning to cooperative rate oversight helped to strengthen Basin Electric’s financial position.

The report also shares other highlights from the year, including a record-setting carbon dioxide sequestration milestone.

The 2025 Annual Report presents condensed financial data for ease of reference, while the full Independent Auditor’s Report and Consolidated Financial Statements remain accessible online for review at your convenience.

Copies of the Annual Report have also been mailed and distributed throughout the cooperative’s service territory.
