McGrew named as Basin Electric’s new Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Basin Electric Power Cooperative announced today Miles McGrew will join the cooperative as its senior vice president of human resources effective August 1, 2022.

McGrew has more than 25 years of experience in human resources, international labor relations, mergers and acquisitions, operations with profit and loss responsibility, and organizational development and design. He earned a Master’s degree in public health from the University of Illinois Springfield and a bachelor’s degree in labor relations from Sangamon State University in Springfield.

McGrew has worked in large Fortune 100-sized companies as well as private equity. Prior to accepting this position, he served as the vice president of human resources for Seaboard Triumph Foods, a company of approximately 2,200 employees located in Sioux City, Iowa.

McGrew grew up in Galesburg, Illinois, and will be relocating from Iowa to Bismarck with his wife, Hillary. Together they have two college-aged daughters, Riley and Ramsey.
